Kim Coleman Casting is conducting a talent search for upcoming Warner Bros. feature film Space Jam 2. Casting is seeking one male or female African American actor (to play 11-14 years old), with exceptional basketball skills. The prequel, 1996 cult classic Space Jam, was directed by Joe Pytka and starred basketball hall-of-famer Michael Jordan.

LeBron James and several other NBA players have signed on for this long-awaited sequel. Eric Bauza will be the voice of iconic Looney Tune characters Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. Space Jam 2 is scheduled to start production in June of this year, during the NBA offseason. The film is to be directed by Terence Nance, known for the HBO show Random Acts of Flyness and the film An Oversimplification of her Beauty. Writers include Andrew Dodge (Bad Words), Alfredo Botello (Hollywood Adventures), and Willie Ebersol (The Wanted), and Ryan Coogler (Black Panther) is producing.
